one of the UK's major online ticketing agencies.
Taking place at East London's historic York Hall, following an eight-year absence, the Mosconi Cup features two five-man teams representing Europe and the USA competing over four days from Thursday, December 9 to Sunday, December 12.
Following four years without a win, Team USA came good in Las Vegas last December as they brushed aside the European challenge and they will be back this year, determined to hang on to the trophy in the intimidating York Hall atmosphere.
Matchroom Sport chairman and Mosconi Cup promoter, Barry Hearn, is delighted to be bringing the Mosconi Cup back to such an exciting venue.
"What makes the York Hall such a special venue for pool is that it is compact and manages to generate a frightening amount of atmosphere," said Hearn. "We have room for around 400 and I am expecting these tickets to sell quickly.
I can't remember an event I have promoted in recent times, that has generated so much interest and ever since we announced the venue back in April, we have been receiving ticket enquiries on a daily basis."
